About Us

Dale, Christine, and their daughter Megan have embarked on a 1-year sailing journey aboard their new Catamaran, "Helios." The idea first came up 15 years ago and was finally triggered by Megan's interest in taking a gap year before college to join in the adventure.

After many sailing charters and time spent at sailing schools, we took the plunge, purchased the boat, and set off from the Atlantic Coast of France in July, 2021. Not to be forgotten is our other daughter, Lindsey, who is taking the more sane and traditional path of college and is a much-welcomed link for us to our normal life back home.
